Technical Product Owner

SatoshiPay is a fast-growing technology company founded in 2014 building the next generation of cross-border payment systems. We are right in the middle of the Web3 and blockchain industry that is reinventing money. We are currently developing Pendulum – a Substrate-based parachain that will open up the exciting world of DeFi applications to fiat currencies.

We’re looking for a Senior Technical Product Owner who is excited about the Polkadot ecosystem, blockchain technology, and DeFi in general to join our distributed, collaborative and agile team. You will be responsible for deep technical research, developing innovative solutions, project management, and interfacing between the protocol engineering team and the product team.

What you’ll be doing

  • Technical research on blockchain/DeFi ecosystem, technologies, and tools
  • Write engaging research papers, blog posts, and documentation explaining complex topics in simple ways
  • Coordinate integrations with partners and external vendors
  • Talk with and learn from the community of developers
  • Manage backlogs of technical tickets and roadmaps
  • Work closely together with our developers in an agile environment

Your skills

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in developing blockchain/Web3 products
  • A background in Computer Science and software (academic, self-taught, etc.)
  • A background in Economics is a plus
  • Excellent technical understanding of blockchain, DeFi services, and related incentive structures (tokenomics, game theory)
  • Excellent research and (English) writing skills (blog posts, white papers)
  • Practical experience with Github, smart contracts/dApps, API/SDK development. Experience with Substrate or EVM is a plus
